FAQs

It is advised that with any Pandora Product you have a service at a minimum of once a year to keep the system in full working order.

 

GREEN MEMBERSHIP CARD

With your alarm system, you will be given a green membership card. keep this safe as you will need this if you need to override the alarm system, If this is lost, the alarm system will be useless so do not use it as we will not keep a record for security reasons. A new brain will have to be purchased if lost. 

BATTERIES

Although your keys fobs have brand new batteries, it is advised to change the batteries every 3-6 months as the fobs are always searching for the signal. We advise that you keep some spare batteries in the car  just in case. 95% of support calls are simply down to the remotes batteries going dead. 

GPS/GSM TRACKING

For The Smart Pro and Professional alarm systems, you will have an Alarm Contact number. Save this number so you know when you receive notifications to your phone. You will also need this number to renew your subscription. 

RENEWAL

When your subscription is up, You will need to email jpautoservices25@gmail.com with your alarm contact number to renew. put in your diary the date your subscription will run out so you do not miss it and you do not get charged a reactivation fee. 

EMERGENCY HELP

In case you need our help in an emergency, we advise that the best way to get through to us is through our Facebook page with your contact number or for any other support help, you can email jpautoservices25@gmail.com who will usually respond within 2 working days. The more info you send, the quicker we can help so videos, photos and which alarm system to which car always helps.

PAIRING A NEW MOBILE DEVICE - BLUETOOTH

The following procedure applies only to the Mini BT V1 & V2, Light Pro V1, Smart Pro V1 & V2. You will need to enter programming mode first on the alarm system. There are 2 different ways to enter programming mode, one being via your old phone or the second via the valet button.

Using previous phone method (You will need your setup code):

iPhone > Pandora BT app > Settings > Enter Setup Mode (top right corner of app)

Android > Pandora BT app > Alarm settings > Enter Programming mode (Bottom of screen)

Using Valet Button method:

1 Intial press of the valet button the on the red light press again (repeat this a further 2 times)

If done correctly the Valet button will flash RED-GREEN.

Pairing new device:

You will now need to press the valet button 18 times consecutively, once you have done this the siren and/or beeper will sound 18times.

If the Valet button has the RED LED illuminated.

Hold the valet button for 5 seconds - The LED should then iluminate GREEN if done correctly proceed to next step.

 

If/when the Valet Button is Green

You will now need to add the new device to the alarm system by entering the Pandora BT app and selecting the correct bluetooth device. If the alarm system has the latest software, the system should automatically save your new device. If the alarm system is displaying a red LED you will need to press once to confirm the new device.

Exiting Programming Mode

Hold the Valet button for 10seconds or 10 chirps of the buzzer/siren, if done correctly the led should give you a series of flashes.

DON'T FORGET - When you have exited programming mode you will need to resync the central locking status back to the alarm to do this make sure all the doors are shut then simply press Lock, Unlock and lock.

if done correctly the alarm should be in the armed status.

NOTICE:- Do this at your own risk, any programming level you have entered incorrectly could cause issues such as deleting your immobiliser tags/Fobs. If you need help contact your installer or you could incur a call out charge

Adding a new TAG/FOB

The following procedure applies only to the Mini BT V1 & V2, Light Pro V1, Smart Pro V1 & V2. You will need to enter programming mode first on the alarm system. See above for details on how to enter programming mode.

Note: When pairing a new tag and/or OLED fob you will need to re-pair all of the additional tags & fob.

  1. Enter Programming mode (Details above)

  2. Press the valet button once

  3. Pair Tags one by one by holding the button on the tag for 6 flashes of the led, then wait for the chirp from the siren/buzzer, once you have heard the chirp repeat this for each additional tag. Note if you have the Light pro system you will need to pair the OLED fob FIRST to do this you will need to hold all three buttons on the top of the remote until you hear 1 BEEP on the fob, if you have done this correctly the system will chirp the siren/buzzer.

  4. Once you have completed step 3 press the valet button once to save.

  5. Hold the valet button for 10 chirps from the siren or buzzer to exit programming mode.

PAIRING A NEW MOBILE DEVICE - Light Pro V2, Professional V2, Elite

  1. Enter Programming mode (Using the steps at the top of this page

  2. Hold the Valet button for 5 chirps of the siren/buzzer Note: once this level has been entered the previous mobile phone connected wil automatically be deleted.​

  3. Pair you mobile phone via the Pandora app.

  4. Exit programming mode by holding the valet button for 10 seconds or 10 chirps of the siren/buzzer

Adding a new TAG/FOB - Light Pro v2, Professional v2, Elite

The following procedure applies only to the Light Pro v2, Professional v2, Elite.

You will need to enter programming mode first on the alarm system. See above for details on how to enter programming mode.

  1. Enter Programming mode (Details above)

  2. (TAG 1) Hold the valet button for 1 second, Press the valet button 1 wait for chirp, Press the valet button again. Pair Tag 1 by holding the button on the tag for 6 flashes of the led, then wait for the chirp from the siren/buzzer.

  3. (TAG 2) To Pair Tag 2 Hold the valet button for 1 second, Press the valet button 1 wait for chirp, Press the valet button twice. Pair Tag 2 by holding the button on the tag for 6 flashes of the led, then wait for the chirp from the siren/buzzer

  4. (TAG 3) To Pair Tag 3 Hold the valet button for 1 second, Press the valet button 1 wait for chirp, Press the valet button 3 timesPair Tag 3 by holding the button on the tag for 6 flashes of the led, then wait for the chirp from the siren/buzzer.

  5. Hold the valet button for 10 chirps from the siren or buzzer to exit programming mode.

NOTE: You do not need to re-pair each tag on these systems, however you will need to do the delete process if you are replacing a tag. If you are adding an additional tag skip to step 3 or 4 depending on how many tags you already have (Only a max of 3 are able to paired).
