Product Description

The Blackvue range are simple front and rear facing cameras with full HD or 4K recording. Featuring the Sony STARVIS CMOS image sensor,  The STARVIS imaging sensor provides improved clarity under low light conditions.

The Blackvue dash camera range is a reliable and ideal single or dual channel dash cam for motorists who simply want to record driving scenes from front or  both front and rear windows. The main camera, mounted on the front windscreen, captures the entire road ahead, whilst the rear camera, attached on the rear window, records what is behind you. It can provide irrefutable proof in the unfortunate event of an accident, and can provide protection of your valuable property whilst parked and provide a record of scenic drives.

Parking Mode Monitoring

Motion and Impact Detection in Parking Mode detects both and only writes data to the memory card when something happens either when motion or impact are sensed. This means there is less chance of important files being overwritten during long parking sessions and extends the lifespan of the memory card.

To utilise the Parking Mode functions, you will require a Power Magic Pro or Power Magic EZ or a Battery Pack to keep the camera active whilst parked.

When using the Powermagic Pro addon the voltage cutoff settings can be adjusted on the Power Magic Pro itself via the white tabs on its side, You have the option of selecting:

  • 12.0V

  • 12.5V

  • 22.8V

  • 23.2V

For most vehicles, 12.0V should provide about 6-8 hours of power after the car turns off and still offers enough juice for the vehicle to start up again. During very cold weather, we recommend setting this to 12.5V.
